" No More Lives" is the title to my piece for the upcoming group art show Game Over which is being held again at Giant Robot in LA, California.

This Thursday at midnight we will release the newest colorwave of the Bedtime Bunnies, this time in a clean Mat Black finish. As always everything here is handmade in my Brooklyn studios. Along with my Black Bunnies there will also be some Pepto-Pink Bedtime Bunnies wearing white slippers available plus a small restock of White body bunnies( due to customer requests). Tuesday April 15th the nyc gallery toystore myplasticheart will release their colorwave for my Bedtime Bunnies. The assortment includes a color variation of light violets, chic yellows, light blues all with contrasting bunnie-slippers. The gallery-store has always been very supportive of my pieces so it was a pleasure to give them such a varied "easter" batch. This time the batch have been organized as a blind assortment so i have included a special chase figure, one golden bunnie with a black felted bottom. Writing this post in the dead of night, excited and sleepless. It's that hour my Bedtime Bunnies rise and begin their rem state playing. 

I was inspired in the last months by illustrated artwork by artists who had themes of sleep, animals and fairies. I wanted to share that feeling in a new sculpt and i feel i have

with these companions of insomnia. They were intented to stay with you as you had those nights you just couldn't get to sleep. i hope you like them and have room on your nightime

Ghost Butler, he's Happy to Serve...eternally.

Loyal & Polite Ghost Butler will never leave your side, he was made to be that bring along toy companion. He comes from that side of my imagination that birthed other ghoulish figures in the past like FrightBite & Kawako. He is a mix of the old bedsheets ghost & a bit of a Casper anatomy ( although I've imagined his roundness to look more like Alfred Hitchcock than others) . I have always loved ghosts toys, collected old ones from Kinder Egg collections to more recent arttoys such as Boo...

The largest, chunkiest figure I have made to date at 3 inches high and 1& 3/4 wide this fella has some weight to it. 

Due to be released nextweek I am excited for everyone to tell me their thoughts on him.

Fall will be ending this weekend making way for a Cold Winter~ brrrr. So let's warm up once more with some fall colorwave figures, namely the Tako Cubes & the Tako Terrians. Invading your hearts thanksgiving!

So I want you guys to check out this awesome show at myplasticheart in nyc. It's called " Pretend Sleep" and is Andrea Kang's Solo Exhibition which is made up of these incredibly precise seem lessly executed works that combine her delicate water-color and layer blending paper cut outs. You really need to take advantage of seeing the work up close if you can to see the beautifully subtle levels of layered effects. The show just opened this weekend and is up for a month. Don't pass up the chance.
